Resolved to pursue our undermentioned demands through the path of struggle 

1. Provide adequate Clerical and Substaff at branches for improving Customer Service , health of the branches and mitigate the hardships caused to employees .

2. Render Justice to Daily wagers who are subjected to exploitation and uncertain future. 

3. Ensure healthy Industrial Relations .

 

PROGRAMMES :

 

1. UNITS will prepare a flexi banner with details of branches ( coming under each Zone )  which are suffering from acute shortage of clerical and substaff and the banner will be in DISPLAY before respective Zonal Offices will through the period of struggle starting from 30 th May, 2022

2. BADGE WEARING BY MEMBERS IN ALL BRANCHES ON 30 TH May, 2022 & Display of Posters in branches ( in English or Local Language )

3. Deputation to Branch Head on 06/06/2022.

Even in single award staff branches Deputation shall be made to highlight the problems faced due to shortage of clerical and substaff. This will include problems like customer service, house keeping, late sitting, delay in closure of cash counter, inability to avail leave, non relieving , non filling up of functional allowance posts , branch business expansion etc. 

 

4. Deputation to Zonal Heads with submission of memorandum on 13/06/2022. 

Draft specimen of memorandum will be sent in due course . In the mean while units should be ready with the details of branches where staff shortage is acute, zero clerical/ zero substaff branches, ” no Head Cashier” branches , minimum need in every branch , likely depletion due to retirement etc, number of employees waiting for relieving  etc.

Copy of the memorandum ( after submission to zm)  to be sent to Federation by mail on 14 th June .

 

5. Deputation & submission of memorandum to GM HRM by Staff Union Leaders on 20 th June .

Draft copy of memorandum along with the copies of memorandum submitted by the units ( on 6 th June ) will be sent by HQ for submission to GM.

 

6. Dharna before All Nodal Zonal Offices on 27 th June 

Units will decide the time ( commencing and closing time) , mobilise as many comrades as possible for Dharna. Where Police permission is needed IT can be taken well in time.

 

7. There will be continuous Dharna for 5 days ( Monday to Friday ) before Head Office. 

UCOBANK Staff union has under taken the responsibility of organising this programme , it’s timing and number of comrades to participate in each day etc. 

 

Besides the above office bearers are authorised to decide further programmes like WORK TO RULE, STICK TO TIMINGS and ONE DAY STRIKE at the appropriate time.

 

IT has also been decided to initiate the above programmes independently ( by AIUCBEF units ) and consider joint action  if & when necessary and incase any other union desires to join the struggle.

 

President & General Secretary will explore the possibility of meeting the MD & CEO to place our concern once again and reiterate our demands .

 

Comrades , all the above PROGRAMMES have been decided ,unanimously and enthusiastically welcomed by the Working Committee ,keeping inview the urgency on the issues ,particularly the Recruitment of clerks and substaff for which Management must be preparing their assessment to place the indent to IBPS for clerks any time from now. 

 

We are confident that our units , true to their tradition , will immediately take steps to reach out to their members , timely circulation of this communication , timely despatch of badges & posters and ensure that all programmes are carried out with a significant impact on the Management at all levels.

 

Go Ahead. Implement the calls in letter and spirit. Make every programme a grand success.
