Deputation to BH

Our members in all branches irrespective of the number shall meet ( collectively )the Branch Head or ABH in his absence ( at a leasure time) and explain about the agitational programmes that we have undertaken at the call of AIUCBEF Our Demands too should be explained.

Where there is only one member , still that one member will meet the BH/ABH and talk to him.

Units shall reach out the branch units and personality explain the above action points by or before 4th June.

TAKING POINTS:

During the deputation / meeting, our member (s) will place the following points.

1. What is the present strength and the actual requirements both clerical and Substaff.

2. How the branch is suffering due to non availability of minimum required clerical and Substaff

3. How the Customer Service is affected and the difficulties faced at the counter when customers

become impatient.

4. How the branch development is also affected due to shortage of staff. In other words , if required Staff

is available we can bring more accounts and serve the customers and improve the business.

5. How the individual staff members are facing difficulties due to compulsion of extended stay in branches – beyond prescribed working hours as a matter of routine and with out any compensation

like OT etc

6. How the individual staff are facing embarrassment when they are required to avail leave or permission

on exigencies

7. How individual staff are affected due to non consideration of transfer request or non relieving even

after consideration of transfer or selection to functional Allowance posts under the garb of non

availability of replacement.

8. Highlight the issue of Daily wagers with regard to unfair treatment meted out to them with regard to

wages and unlimited working hours and uncertainty about their future.

9. They are free to discuss other hardships they face every day due to shortage of staff .

10. Care should be taken to ensure that none of our members enter into any argument or quarrel with BH

on this programme. They should tell that as called upon by the union they are on deputation to

impress upon them BH about the need for adequate hands.

They will then request the BH to write to ZM on the content of deputation mentioning about our call for agitation.

Please circulate this widely to branchs and members weell in time, may be even through voice calls. Effect report from branches in 6 th about compliance of the programme.
