You may be aware that in all the banks, employees in award cadre are being granted the facility of Reimbursement of Petrol Expenses which is also revised from time to time. Only in our bank such a facility is not made available despite our demand for long. IT was in 2013 the then CMD assured us to work out a scheme similar to the one existing in most banks . However with the change in the top management the demand was once again kept in the cold storage. Though the Bank made highest profit in 2014 & 15 , the then Management , though repeatedly assured , there was no progress in the issue. In between, Bank was put under PCA and we did not/ could not pursue the demand. You will appreciate that Uco Bank workman staff are second to none in their dedication towards the Bank and are working beyond the call of their duties despite huge shortage of clerical and substaff in all the branches. They too deserve a fair treatment like their counterparts in other banks . We list under the details of the facility extended by other banks including the banks that are comparable to our Bank in size and business/earnings.
We therefore request you to be benevolent enough to extend a similar facility to the workman staff of our Bank which will certainly enhance their motivation, dedication and commitment towards achieving the ambitious goal set/desired by you.
