Com. Ram Avatar Sharma, President and Com. Partha Chanda, General Secretary of Federation were on organisational tour in Shimla from 27th to 29th May 2023.

A very impressive, well attended meeting was organised by HPUCBEU to felicitate Com. Narinder Verma, General Secretary of HPUCBEU before his retirement from services w.e.f
31st May 2023.
Almost 30 comrades came from far away Dharamshala region including 12 lady comrades and good number of comrades from Shimla and outskirts, retirees, officers were present in the meeting.
Having the opportunity of the presence of so many comrades both General Secretary and President highlighted the issues pertaining to banking industry, ensuing bipartite and bank related issues.
Federation conveys its high appreciation and confidence in the ability of the present
leadership of HPUCBEU and the way they have run the organisation and the result of which is today we are in absolute majority making others almost redundant on the soil of Himachal Pradesh.
Page1/3Both expressed all support to them in expanding further the ambit of our union there and wished that Com. Narinder will continue to contribute towards organisation.

The GR meeting of HP was held this day at ZO, Shimla.
Along with President and General Secretary of AIUCBEF, Com. Narinder, Com. Vikash, DGS, Com. Ankur, AGS and Com. Kaithla, Treasurer of HPUCBEU were present in the GR Meeting. On the side of management Sri Sanjoy Jain, AGM, Sri Rajneesh and Sri Dinesh were present.
The absence of Zonal Head in the meeting citing some work outside Shimla could not be accepted in good spirit by Federation.
Both Com. President and General Secretary at the outset conveyed our displeasure to such an attitude of the Zonal Head. Without denying the importance of the engagement
of the Zonal Head, they expressed clearly that this GR meeting being held as per the provisions of the Board Approved IR policy is also a matter of importance and should have been taken seriously.
Com. General Secretary urged the AGM to convey our spirit in proper terms to the Zonal Head and take note of our feelings in future too.
After that one after one issue were taken up and the response of the Zonal management was found positive. The major issues of concern pertaining to release of employees and transfer were taken up and positive response was received from the management.

Our Himachal unit has been advised to hold their working committee on virtual mode very soon and to gear up the teamwork before new entrants join our Bank. Training sessions for the new members have also been planned along with our young upcoming leadership.
Organizationally the HP tour went successfully.
