We like to keep our members all over the country abreast of the incidents happening in our Tamil Nadu zone on the industrial relations front.
We were receiving complaints from our Tamil Nadu leadership for quite a long time upon the approach and attitude of this present Zonal management towards matters related to employees. As heard of , the same type of apathetic and rough attitude is taken against officers Comunity also.
Inspite of all such negative role of the present Zonal management of T.N, as a responsible trade union we were trying to assuage the grievances of employees through negotiations and cordial talks.
A GR Meeting was also convened on 25th July but even after a lapse of considerable time not a single issue have been settled rather decisions on some sensitive matters were taken in a atrocious mood as if to teach lesson to those who take up issues on humanitarian causes.
Even after agreeing in the GR to dispose of certain long pending issues of employees, the Zonal management has cared a fig to honour their own commitments. Adding sat to the injury they have inflicted wage cut on a lady Comrade qho had applied for leave for her INFERTILITY treatment duly authorised and certified by the hospital. It bestows arrogance and animosity of this present Zonal management towards employees irrespective of gender.
Along with these the issues of delay in Notification for functional posts , release on transfer, Fair wages to casual workers etc are getting ignored although assurances were given in the last GR meeting held with our State Unit.

Hence UCO BANK EMPLOYEES UNION, TAMI NADU has adopted the path of peaceful agitation to raise the voices of protest against this adamant and arrogant management..
From today I,e 5th September the agitation has been initiated with BLACK BADGE WEARING AND SILENT PLACARD DEMONSTRATION. It will continue in different forms.
ALL INDIA FEDERATION NOT ONLY SUPPORTS THE MOVE OF UCBEU,( TN) BUT STANDS IN UNISON AGAINST THIS BELLIGERENT ATTITUDE OF THE ZONAL MANAGEMENT..
On behalf of Federation, we strongly protest such inhuman approach of the management and demand JUSTICE TO THE WOMAN and implementation of all agreed issues.
We call upon all our units to send solidarity message to our Tamil Nadu Unit .
While congratulating all the militant comrades of Tamil Nadu we wish every success in their agitation.
