AIUCBEF 4th Working Committee Meeting Scheduled for September 2026 in Shimla

The All India UCO Bank Employees’ Federation (AIUCBEF) has announced that its 4th Working Committee Meeting for the current term will take place on the 10th and 11th of September, 2026. The meeting will be hosted by the Himachal Pradesh unit at Hotel Angan in Shimla. Following the previous committee meeting held in Lucknow in January 2026, this upcoming gathering aims to discuss and discharge multiple pending matters while inspiring the recently rejuvenated HP unit.
Key details and arrangements:
– Dates of Meeting: 10th and 11th September, 2026. (Thursday and Friday). – Venue: Hotel Angan, Near ISBT Tutikandi, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. – Meeting Schedule: Conveners will meet on 10th September (10:00 AM to 6:30 PM) and conclude on 11th September (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM). – Accommodation Details: Check-in begins on 9th September from 12:00 noon, and check-out is on 11th September by 2:00 PM. The tariff package is set at ₹2,500/- per person per day. Any stay beyond the announced days must be coordinated in advance.
– Travel Advice: Attendees are encouraged to safely arrive on 9th September (and align their return travel with the checkout time). The circular provides multiple comprehensive travel routes via air (Chandigarh or New Delhi airports) and train (Chandigarh or New Delhi railway stations).
– A formal notice detailing the agenda of the meeting will be issued separately in due course.

Sub : ENSUING WORKING COMMITTEE MEETING OF AIUCBEF.
Dear Comrade,
You are aware that our last i,e the 3rd working committee of the present term was held at Lucknow on 10th & 11th January, 2026. The next working committee meeting has fallen due and there are many matters to be discussed and discharged.
In order to finalise the venue of the ensuing ( 4th) working committee meeting we approached our Himachal Pradesh unit. We are very happy to inform all of you that our HP unit has come forward and offered to host the next working committee meeting at SHIMLA . After a long time we are holding our working committee meeting at Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. After their Conference the HP Unit is rejuvenated with the assimilation of young blood and experienced seniors and we believe that this meeting will inspire and instill further enthusiasm among our members.
DATE OF THE WCM : 10th & 11th September, 2026.
Our HP unit has also finalised the VENUE AND STAYING ARRANGEMENTS by ensuring congenial ambience for a fruitful meeting and comfortable stay for us.

DETAILS OF WORKING COMMITTEE MEETING:
10 th September, 2026 : 10 AM to 6.30 PM
11th September, 2026 : 10 AM to 1 PM.
Tariff Details of per person / per day
Tariff Package: ₹ 2,500/- per person / per day for 2 days.
Check – in time : 9th September, 12 noon onwards .
Check – out time : 11th September, 2 P.M.
All comrades are advised to arrive Shimla on 9th September and book their return tickets on 11th September after 12 noon. Please plan your itinerary in accordance with the check in / check out timings.
If any comrade or any unit wants to stay beyond the announced days , they have to bear the cost of boarding and should intimate our H.P leadership well in advance.

1 . AIR ROUTE :
A. VIA CHANDIGARH AIRPORT :
You can book app based cab/ hired taxi or avail Bus facilities from there. The road journey takes 3.5 to 4 hrs.
B . VIA NEW DELHI AIRPORT :
Option 1 ..Avail train to Kalka and take hired taxi or app based cab Option 2 : Avail Bus straight to Shimla from ISBT Kashmiree gate .
2 ..TRAIN ROUTE :
A . VIA CHANDIGARH RLY STATION :
Option 1 : Book hired taxi / app based cab/ Bus from Station to Shimla.
B . VIA NEW DELHI RLY STATION:
Option 1 : Book connecting train to Chandigarh or Kalka then book hired app based cab / taxi / Bus.
Option 2 . Avail Volvo Bus services from ISBT Kashmiree gate . Time taken by road is 7 to 9 hrs . Or book app based cab / taxi straight to Shimla.
Information for those comrades who come by Volvo bus or hired cabs should get down at ISBT , TUTIKANDI just beside our VENUE : Hotel Angan.
Book your Bus ticket or cab up to the above-mentioned Bus terminus.
UNITS / OBs/ WCMs are requested to plan their journey schedule accordingly.
