  • During this period Federation hold its Working Committee at Nagpur on 17th& 18th May, 2022 where it was unanimously decided to launch country wide agitation in demand of :
  • 1. Adequate recruitment to address the manpower problems
  • Absorption of Daily wagers and minimum wages to them
  • Healthy and respectable IR Policy
  • From 4th June onwards our agitation started with submission of memorandum to branch heads, then deputation to Zonal heads, to GM HRM at HO and followed by
  • Dharna at all state capital Zonal Offices. The issues we raised went down the line and created a reper-cussion among all. Finally the mega show of Dharna was organised by staff Union at Head Office. Previously it was decided to hold the Dharna for 2 days but ultimately on the 1st day a discussion was held with MD& CEO with Com. Partha Chanda, DGS after which in the evening GM HRM spoke to our General Secretary and invited Federation for discussion. Our logic placed to management in a most convincing manner in regard to Recruitment was accepted in principle by the management and some significant move has been made in this regard.
  • Other two issues are also under close monitoring and persuasion. Our agitation was completely successful and then the Promotion policy was signed successfully as all our points were accepted and incorporated in the Policy. Transfer Policy is under negotiation.
