Introduction & Key Context:
Today marks a proud and joyful occasion for all in-service employees of UCO Bank as the 15 days’ Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) has been successfully credited to their bank accounts. This milestone is the direct result of sustained efforts, collective bargaining, and persistent struggles led by the Federation and AIBEA.
The Core Message & Appeal:
In line with the foundational values of AIBEA—unity, struggle, and solidarity—the Federation emphasizes that true union responsibility extends to all sections of workers who silently keep the bank running, including daily wagers, casual workers, contractual employees, and Bank Mitras.
To share this moment of celebration and support our underprivileged colleagues:
– Voluntary Contribution: All in-service employees (including Officer colleagues) across every branch are requested to voluntarily contribute at least Rs. 500.
– Direct Beneficiaries: The collected amount is to be handed over directly to the Daily Wager / Casual Employee of the respective branch as a token of affection and solidarity.
– Recognition of Service: Daily wagers respond to every call of duty without job security or formal recognition. This initiative ensures they participate in the collective happiness of the UCO Bank family.
Action Plan for Leadership & Members:
1. Wide Dissemination: All Office Bearers, State/District Leaders, Branch Representatives, and Active Members are requested to circulate this appeal across all branches.
2. Grassroots Mobilization: Motivate comrades in every branch to organize voluntary contributions and ensure no daily wage worker is left behind.
